The day after Thanksgiving, we set out for a fun day at Sea World in San Diego. We saw many shows, exhibits, and sea animals. The girls had a great time and can't wait to go back there again!
Today, the girls had a Thanksgiving performance at school. As a home project, they had to create a vest and on the vest they had to tell a story using Indian (or should I be PC and say Native American) symbols. They had a lot of fun making their vests, and were to wear the vests during the performance. Carey had the day off, so he went to their school to help with their feast, then I joined him for the performance. They sang some Thanksgiving songs and chanted a poem. They were super cute and I enjoyed every second of the performance!
Today was the last soccer game for the girls. They were on a U6 Clinic team in the JUSA organization. Our team was no good, not winning one game, but the girls seemed to have a good time, learned about the sport, and made some new friends. Carey and I made some new friends with the parents on the team, friends that we know we will keep in touch with.
Today we celebrated Mia's birthday once more by bowling with our good friends Jake and Kylee. We went to the Yorba Linda Bowl, which is conveniently down the street from us. The kids had a great time! Lots of gutter balls, a few points, and loads of great memories!
